Zapgo partners with Paua to power-up the UK’s fast-growing electric fleet sector

Zapgo has taken another major step in its mission to make rapid and reliable charging accessible for every driver in the UK. The company has announced a new strategic partnership with Paua, the UK’s largest aggregator of EV charging for fleets, a move set to significantly boost charging access for businesses transitioning to electric vehicles at speed.

Launched on 10 December 2025, the partnership brings Zapgo’s rapidly expanding network of high-power chargers onto Paua’s all-in-one fleet charging platform. For thousands of fleet drivers, this means easier access to reliable and rapid charging, including in rural and hard-to-reach regions where dependable infrastructure has been limited to date.

Simplifying fleet charging at scale

The collaboration positions Zapgo to benefit from the surge in fleet electrification as businesses increasingly shift away from combustion engines. By joining the Paua platform, Zapgo becomes visible to a substantial volume of passing fleet traffic, creating new opportunities for utilisation while giving operators the confidence of a network built for long-distance, time-critical driving.

Fleet managers can now locate, access and pay for Zapgo charging sessions directly through Paua, streamlining the entire charging journey into a single, seamless experience.

Strengthening reliability for drivers everywhere

Jo Moffatt, Head of Networks at Zapgo, said the partnership marks a pivotal moment for the commercial EV sector:

“Our partnership with Paua is a significant step forward in supporting the UK’s commercial EV sector. As fleet electrification gathers pace, it’s vital that drivers have convenient access to dependable rapid charging no matter where they are, including in rural and hard-to-reach areas. Together with Paua, we’re making that easier than ever.”

For Paua, the addition of Zapgo’s network reflects growing market demand for accessible, high-speed infrastructure.

Niall Riddell, CEO & Co-founder of Paua, commented: “Zapgo joining the Paua platform is a strong signal of where the fleet charging market is heading. Businesses want simple access to the right chargers in the right places, and Zapgo’s growing network of rapid chargers is exactly what many of our customers have been asking for.

“We’re seeing record numbers of fleets moving to electric and they depend on reliable charging when operating at pace across towns, cities and rural routes. Our shared focus with Zapgo on making EV charging effortless for drivers gives fleets more confidence to electrify faster and operate more sustainably.”

Building a network that works for every journey

With Zapgo continuing to scale across regional and remote areas, the partnership is particularly valuable for fleets operating beyond major cities, from logistics and field services to utilities and national infrastructure teams.

Both companies share a mission to accelerate EV adoption while helping organisations cut emissions and improve operational efficiency.

Paua provides access to more than 69,000 charge point connectors, offering the UK’s broadest mix of rapid, ultra-rapid and eHGV-ready sites. Its platform supports public charging, home charging reimbursement, data insights, APIs and a unique salary-sacrifice solution designed to help fleets decarbonise faster.
