Charging-Up Lancashire: Zapgo Brings Ultra-Rapid EV Charging to The Stanley Club

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news from the heart of Lancashire… Zapgo has just switched on a brand-new ultra-rapid EV charging hub at The Stanley Club in Burscough, bringing rapid and reliable charging to a venue that means so much to the local community.

The new hub features two 200kW chargers, powering up to four bays (including two fully accessible ones) so everyone can plug in and charge up with ease. With 24-hour CCTV, new lighting and simple contactless payments, Zapgo has designed this site with drivers in mind: Safe, secure, and ready when you are.

But for us, this launch is about more than charging. It’s about community. That’s why Zapgo is proud to contribute £10,000 in funding to help The Stanley Club carry out essential renovations and building upgrades. Plus, the Club will earn a share of the revenue from every single charge, helping it continue to serve as a vital meeting place for locals and visitors alike.

This project follows our recent site opening at Tesco Express in Lochmaben, Lockerbie, and reflects our mission to bring EV charging to the places that need it most, not just big cities, but deserving communities across the UK.
