New site: Starbucks, Crieff

Zapgo has opened a new rapid EV charging site at Starbucks Crieff, bringing rapid and reliable charging to local residents, shoppers and motorists travelling through Perthshire’s Highland Gateway. We have launched the site ahead of schedule on 50kW (rapid) and will up-rate the site to ultra-rapid charging speeds when Distribution Network Operator (DNO) reinforcement works allow.

About the site

The new site features a rapid charger serving two charging bays, allowing two electric vehicles to charge simultaneously.

Located on Broich Road, the site gives drivers a convenient place to charge while making the most of nearby amenities, including Starbucks and Aldi. Drivers can pay using all major contactless debit and credit cards, making charging quick and hassle-free.

As EV ownership continues to grow across Perthshire, the new charging hub provides valuable infrastructure in a busy retail location where people already live, shop and travel.

Convenient charging for Perthshire

Demand for public EV charging continues to increase across Perth and Kinross, with more than 3,000 registered electric vehicles now using around 150 public charging points across the region. The new Zapgo site helps strengthen local charging provision, giving drivers greater confidence to travel throughout Perthshire and beyond.

Located at the gateway to the Highlands, Starbucks Crieff is ideally positioned to support both local journeys and longer-distance travel. By bringing charging to a destination where people naturally stop for coffee, shopping or a break from the road, Zapgo is delivering on its mission of delivering rapid and reliable charging exactly where drivers need it most.
