Zapgo joins Electric Vehicles UK as a Super Partner

June 29, 2026

Zapgo is pleased to announce that it has joined Electric Vehicles UK (EVUK) as a Super Partner, becoming the only charge point operator represented at the organisation’s highest partnership tier.

Evuk X Zapgo

EVUK brings together leading vehicle manufacturers, charge point operators, energy providers and EV specialists to help support drivers with accurate and impartial information about electric vehicles and charging.

Zapgo’s partnership with EVUK comes at an important time for the UK electric vehicles market. Battery electric vehicles accounted for 27% of all new car registrations in May 2026, making it one of the strongest months on record for EV adoption. At the same time, growing demand in the used EV market is making the switch to EVs accessible to even more drivers.

While record levels of consumer enquiries are coming to EVUK, misinformation about EVs is still widespread in many parts of the media. Our partnership with EVUK empowers Zapgo to share an authoritative, reliable voice, from a CPO’s perspective, on the EV charging landscape in the UK.

As more drivers make the switch, reliable charging infrastructure and trusted information will be critical to supporting continued growth in the UK’s charging network. Through our partnership with EVUK, Zapgo will be contributing practical, real-world experience from delivering rapid and ultra-rapid charging infrastructure in underserved communities across the UK.

Zapgo will be working alongside EVUK on a range of political and policy initiatives designed to support the rollout of EV charging infrastructure in underserved communities. We will be contributing to discussions around improving access to charging, removing barriers to deployment, and ensuring that the benefits of the UK’s transition to electric vehicles are shared more evenly across the country.

“Partnering with EVUK amplifies our mission to bring EV charging to underserved areas as we work alongside the best of the UK EV industry: sharing what we know, learning from each other, and helping to advance a faster, fairer EV transition. We also look forward to working with EVUK on numerous political projects to help shape the regulatory landscape.”

– Neil Mahapatra, CEO, Zapgo

“I’m delighted to welcome Zapgo as an EVUK partner. Together we are bigger, broader and better-equipped than ever to support UK drivers considering the switch to electric. And we need to be. Drivers want straight answers about EVs: on cost, on charging, on real-world range, on what’s right for their lives. Cutting through the noise with impartial, trustworthy guidance is exactly what EVUK exists to do.”
